ESTUDIOS LIBERTARIOS provides fully open access to its content, which means that all articles are available on the web for consultation immediately after being published. This is based on the principle that offering the public free access to research helps to further global knowledge exchange.

The journal published its first issue (October 2018) under a Creative Commons Attribution – NonCommercial – NoDerivatives 4.0 International License, which allows only to download and share the articles, but not modify them in any way or use them commercially. In order to fully open access to the publication, as of October 2019, we will adopt a CC BY 4.0 License, which will allow users to read, download, distribute and freely use the articles as long as credit is given to the author of the original work. It is worth noting that the journal allows authors to hold the copyright in their articles, and to retain publishing rights wihout restrictions.

As part of its editorial philosophy, the journal DOES NOT charge APCs (Article Processing Charge) or submission fees, at any stage of the publication process. Nor are readers charged for downloading the material.
